1. Scope
This Privacy Notice explains how moxxis AG processes your personal data when you visit our website www.moxxis.com, book an appointment or contact us. It applies under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where you are located in the EU or EEA, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
A separate Privacy Notice applies to foot and gait analysis and the manufacture of your insoles. It is published on www.moxxis.com.

3. EU Representative

4. Cookies and Web Analytics
When you access the website, we use the following cookies and technologies:
• Strictly necessary cookies (Wix platform: session, security): required to operate the
website; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functional website (Art. 6(1)(f)
GDPR); no consent is required under Section 25(2) TDDDG (Germany).
• Statistics (Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager): used only with your consent via the
cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 25(1) TDDDG; for Switzerland, Art. 45c(b) TCA).
Provider: Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin; data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA
(Section 8). The IP address is processed in truncated form; statistical data is deleted
after 14 months.
We use the Usercentrics consent-management platform (Usercentrics GmbH, Munich, Germany) to obtain and manage your consents. Your consent status is stored so that we can implement and document your choices (Art. 6(1)(c) in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR).
You may withdraw your consent at any time: use the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of the page to reopen the banner and change your selection
5. Hosting
The website is operated on the platform of Wix.com Ltd., Tel Aviv, Israel (including a content delivery network). Wix processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and access times (server logs) on our behalf. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Art. 6 FADP). Israel is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission and is recognised by the Swiss Federal Council; the Wix data-protection terms also apply.
6. Appointment Booking and Contact
Appointment booking: if you book an appointment for our Concept Store in Zurich via the website, we process your contact details and selected appointment in order to carry out the booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The booking is processed via the Wix platform (Section 5) and sent to us by email; it is not disclosed to third parties.
Contact: if you contact us via a form or email, we process the information you provide in order to respond (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete enquiries once the matter has been concluded and no retention obligations apply.
7. Newsletter
You can subscribe to our newsletter on our website (Magazine page). We use your email address for this purpose only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 7 UWG (Germany); Art. 3(1)(o) UWG (Switzerland)); you confirm your subscription via a link in a confirmation email (double opt-in). We use Mailchimp, a service of The Rocket Science Group LLC (Intuit Inc.), Atlanta, USA, to send the newsletter; individual communications are sent via Amazon Web Services (data transfers: Section 8).
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email; your address will then be removed from the distribution list.
9. Retention Period
We process your data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as long as statutory retention obligations apply. Statistical data is deleted after 14 months (Section 4), booking and contact enquiries once the matter has been concluded, and newsletter addresses after you unsubscribe.
8. International Data Transfers
Depending on the function, your data is processed in Switzerland, the EU, Israel (Wix, Section 5) and the USA. Israel is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission and is recognised by the Swiss Federal Council. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified (Google is certified); otherwise, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request a copy of the Standard Contractual Clauses at info@moxxis.com.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Arts. 15–21 GDPR; Art. 25 et seq. FADP). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

Right to lodge a complaint: in Switzerland, with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch); in the EU, with the supervisory authority for your place of residence, work or stay (Art. 77 GDPR).
14. Changes
We may amend this Privacy Notice. The current version available in the application and on www.moxxis.com is authoritative. We will inform you in an appropriate manner of material changes.
